QFC Celebrates the Universal Children’s Day with 'Dreama'
Business
On the occasion of the UN Universal Children's Day and as part of the QFC's Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, a number of QFC Authority and QFC Regulatory Authority employees participated in a joyful day with children from the Orphan Care Centre, "Dreama", at Megapolis Entertainment Centre located in the Pearl. The children were between the ages of six and sixteen, and they were engaged in several amusing and entertaining activities such as video games, air hockey and bowling with the staff and their families.
Commenting on the day:
The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme underscores its commitment to its ethical, social and environmental responsibilities. The CSR's main pillar at QFC is community development that entails focusing on the inclusion of all members of society who are often overlooked.
At the QFC, we have always valued the role youth plays in society. Through focusing on the children's welfare, we are investing in our future generations and ensuring the continued growth and development of our country. The QFC team are always eager to bring happiness to the lives of those little ones and contribute to their prosperity... It was an emotionally enriching experience for our staff that also helped lift the children's spirits as they used their imagination and creativity playing the various games in a fun supportive environment
