Immigration Journey with QFC
A simple five-step process supports firms in bringing their teams to Qatar.
Register on the QFC Client Portal
All requests must be submitted through the portal to enable real-time status updates. Firms are advised to meet the Client Affairs team to address any initial queries before submitting a request.
Documentation
The required forms are prepared and shared with the Ministry of Interior. These must be signed and stamped by the company's authorised signatory.
Visa Issuance
Once approved, the required visas or permits are issued for employees, executives, family members or business visitors.
In-country Arrival
Upon arrival, applicants are supported in completing medical checks and biometric scans.
Issuance of a Resident Permit
Once the resident permit has been issued, the applicant may legally live and work in Qatar.
