The Companies Registration Office issues certified copies of CRO documents and provides attestation of signatures of authorised signatories on documents issued by QFC firms. These services support verification, banking, regulatory and commercial requirements.

Available Certification Services

QFC firms may request the following certification services from the Companies Registration Office:

  • Certified copies of CRO-issued documents and certain documents registered or submitted with the CRO

  • Attestation of signatures of authorised signatories on documents issued by QFC firms

All certification requests must be submitted through the CRO module of the QFC Client Portal, together with payment of the applicable fee.

Certified Copies

The CRO issues certified copies of documents that have been issued by the CRO or registered and submitted with the CRO. These certified copies may be used for official verification purposes.

Attestation of Signatures

The CRO provides attestation of the signatures of authorised signatories on documents issued by QFC firms. This service confirms the authenticity of the signatures for external use.

How to Submit a Request

All requests for certification services must be submitted through the CRO module of the QFC Client Portal. The applicable fee must be paid at the time of submission.

  1. Log in to the QFC Client Portal

  2. Navigate to the CRO module

  3. Select the required certification service

  4. Upload any supporting documents (if required)

  5. Submit the request and complete payment

Document Verification

A document verification facility is available on the Public Register. Using the document ID printed on any document issued by the QFCA or the CRO, users may verify the validity of the document online.
