Hamed Al-Saadi

Chief Financial and Tax Officer

Hamed Al-Saadi joined QFC as Chief Financial & Tax Officer in August 2015.

In this capacity, he assumes a strategic role in the overall management of the QFC in addition to his responsibility to oversee the financial planning and execution of financial activities for all QFC affiliates (QFCA, Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre and Qatar Finance and Business Academy) and to ensure adherence to QFC's values of transparency, efficiency and integrity.

Hamed has over 20 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Prior to joining the QFC, he worked at RasGas Company for 10 years, where he held a number of high-profile positions, including General Accounting Manager. Hamed also worked for another 5 years at Qatar University’s Administrative Department.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Qatar University and an Executive MBA from the University of Plymouth (UK). He also has specific expertise in audit, project management and executive leadership. Hamed is Board Member of Qatari Association of Certified Public Accountants QCPA (2018 – 2021 cycle).
